If you choose to receive text messages from PI-Tech, we may collect your mobile phone number, your SMS consent status, the date and method of your consent, message delivery information, opt-out requests, and related communication records.
Providing your telephone number or submitting a Contact Us form does not, by itself, enroll you in SMS communications. SMS consent must be provided separately through the applicable opt-in method.
PI-Tech currently uses SMS for:
- Confirmation messages to individuals who submit our Contact Us form and affirmatively opt in to receive a text regarding their inquiry

In Short: We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this privacy notice unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
How long we retain personal information depends on the nature of the information, the applicable Service, the duration of our relationship with you, contractual requirements, security requirements, accounting or tax obligations, legal obligations, and any need to resolve disputes or enforce agreements.
We may retain records of SMS consent and opt-out requests as reasonably necessary to document your communication preferences and prevent unwanted messages.
When we no longer have an ongoing business or legal need to process personal information, we may delete or anonymize it. Where immediate deletion is not practical, such as information contained in backups, we may securely isolate the information until deletion occurs through ordinary retention processes.
In Short: We aim to protect personal information through reasonable organizational and technical security measures.
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information that we process. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet, wireless network, website, or information-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Although we take steps designed to protect information, you should use appropriate care when transmitting personal or confidential information and protect your account credentials where applicable.
In Short: We do not knowingly solicit personal information from or market our business Services to children under 18 years of age.
Our Website and business Services are intended primarily for adults and organizations. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18 in circumstances where such collection was not appropriate, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and address the information.
If you become aware of information that you believe was improperly provided by a person under 18, please contact us at info@pi-tech-inc.com.
In Short: Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, accounts, and communication preferences.
Depending on applicable law and the nature of our relationship with you, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of certain information, a copy of certain information, restriction or objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent, or applicable opt-out rights.
If a PI-Tech Service provides account settings, you may be able to review or update certain information by logging in to your account.
You may also contact us to request closure of an applicable account. Following a closure request, we may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist investigations, enforce agreements, document transactions or preferences, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list at any time by using the unsubscribe link contained in an applicable marketing email or by contacting us.
After you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still contact you for non-marketing purposes, such as responding to an inquiry, providing requested Services or support, sending account or security notices, administering transactions, or communicating information required in connection with an existing business relationship.
Participation in PI-Tech's SMS program is optional. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
The Contact Us workflow is designed to send one inquiry-confirmation message for each form submission for which the person has opted in. Internal alert frequency varies depending on the number of applicable website submissions.
You may opt out of PI-Tech SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. You may also use END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. You may receive a final message confirming your opt-out request.
For assistance regarding SMS communications, contact info@pi-tech-inc.com.
Residents of certain jurisdictions, including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other regions with comprehensive privacy laws, may have additional rights under applicable law. These rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent, or the right to complain to an appropriate privacy regulator.
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting that may allow you to signal a preference regarding online tracking.
There is not a single universally accepted technical standard governing all DNT signals. Traditional DNT settings therefore may not automatically change all website data practices.
Some jurisdictions recognize other browser-based privacy preference signals or provide statutory opt-out rights. Where applicable to PI-Tech and a particular interaction, we will handle legally recognized privacy requests in accordance with applicable requirements.

California residents may also have rights under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 regarding certain disclosures of personal information for third parties' direct-marketing purposes where that law applies.
